I spent my childhood hiking the woods and skiing the trails in Winter Park, Colorado, and watching the corn grow in Iowa. I graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in technical journalism and a minor in natural resource interpretation. Employment and educational opportunities led my husband and I to Washington State. I have worked in the field of communications for over 16 years. My experience includes advertising, marketing, public relations and writing. I try to give back to the community and society by volunteering in our church, schools, and for causes I personally feel are important.
